Golf is the category that started it all. A desire to maximize traction on golf courses (metal spikes are best), while minimizing the damage caused to greens provided the inspiration for KickSpike™ inventor Darrell Bachmann. As a Class A golf course superintendent, Bachmann was the first golf course superintendent in the world to make soft spikes mandatory.
